Sarah White
Sarah is a social historian whose work focuses on the sociology of immigration, symbolic violence, and collective memory.
After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Religious Studies at Moravian College, she was the recipient of the Fairchild Fellowship in American Studies at Lehigh University, completing a master’s thesis on the social and cultural capital of transnational migration.
She is a member of the Institutional Review Board at Lafayette College and has been published with the Middle Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies. In her free time, she enjoys being with family, working through an endless reading list, and tending to an extensive garden of vegetables, flowers, and herbs.
